Ralph Mathis began singing professionally as a teenager in clubs in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York. The brother of Johnny Mathis, Ralph went on to play with Bobby Darin, Sam Cooke, Connie Francis, B.B. King, Don Ho, Dion and the Belmonts, The 5th Dimension, Petula Clark, and Tony Orlando. Ralph Mathis Band was the show band on the original “Love Boat,” the Pacific Princess.
